patterns

what i am looking for in these patterns are the movements they create and how that links to information being transmitted. these are mainly present day patterns, however what i want to do is to combine the idea of these patterns with a technological aspect of movement.

bartenders mise en place

the idea we had for the bar tender was to create a suit in which he could keep all hes most important equipment on. therefore the following images will consist of bar equipment's we think can be fitted in the suit.

BARTENDERS UNIFORM UK

with the bartenders uniform, we wanted something classic. the tie, white shirt, waste coat and black trousers. however we wanted to add our own compartments in the costume to make it more of our design. we also changed the length of the waste coat and added the belt which can also hold battled drinks. the following images will consist of our bartender visual research.

for our futuristic suit ,we wanted to look at a variaty of suits that we though had a representation of what the future will look like. the movie Metropolis plays a big part on our inspiration, however we wanted to research movies we though reflected the idea of what we wanted our futuristic suit to look like.

TRON LEGACY

the movies Tron legacy was our main inspiration on creating our futuristic suit as we loved the look and the mechanism behind it. we really like the way the suit lit up as the character moved, and different characters has different lights. with this inspirational visual, we wanted to combine a few suits together to create the ultimate suit.
the material of our suit was taken from the movie Man of steel, the mechanism was inspired by Tron Legacy, and the shape of the suit was inspired buy the ergonomic shapes of our body.
